Even though the chapter is not having “official” meetings during the summer, Rancho Simi members have been busy getting together and getting to know each other. In June, member Carol Perciavalle opened up her home for a movie screening (complete with popcorn and drinks) to watch, “You Shall Cry No More Forever.” In July, members have been able to get together for different purposes. Chapter members attended a movie together, member Tammy Collier opened up her home for a sewing party where members gathered together and sewed bags to be given to the VA. On July 22, members and our newest member, who had just been verified, Marcy Taylor Razum, got together for an evening on the patio and enjoyed Mexican food at a local Simi restaurant.
