El Redondo Chapter ladies participate annually at the Memorial Day ceremony at the Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial Day ceremony held at the Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial at Veterans Park on May 27, 2019.

Small US flags are handed out to the audience and a booth is set up with information about our DAR organization and local chapter. Past Regent and Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial Task Force member, Nancy Connell, coordinated the activity with help from husband John. Carole Callies and Kathy Edwards assisted with handing out the flags.

Chapter members were busy attending other local ceremonies. Vocal and instrumental music was provided by the Redondo Union High School and many civic and military dignitaries were present.
