Ruth Moore, Sharon Moore, and Wanda Prosser, all members of the Santa Margarita Chapter, had the fun of serving a pizza party for the students of Sharon’s AM/PM class. They had presented a Queen Bee mug to State Regent Debra Jamison upon hearing of her bee project.(Clarion Jan 2013). Debbie thanked them and suggested a party during the spring when the flowers are blooming and the bees pollinating. The pizza, along with lots of fruit, was served on bee plates with flower napkins. Sharon had little goodie bags for each child containing a bee bath mitt, bee pencil, bee eraser, bee finger puppet, and a couple of bee “rub on” tattoos. One of the parents contributed $20.00 to the bee project upon learning of the reason for the party. A learning experience and fun time for all involved.
