At their October chapter meeting, Chaplain Nancy Baldwin delivered the Oath of Membership to seven of the most recent members to join the Colonel William Cabell chapter! Members were given new member packets while Registrar Phyllis Thomas pinned each member with their new DAR pin.  Regent Brooke Stewart welcomed them and presented them with a rose. This is the first such ceremony this chapter has had in a few years; one that was very well received by the chapter membership. The chapter was excited to learn also learn that one of these members would be celebrating her 90th birthday the following day! It’s never too late to join the DAR!

The Col. William Cabell chapter, located in Newport Beach, has welcomed not only these seven recent members but has seven applications pending at national. Welcome to these newest DAR daughters!
