On October 20, 2012, members of the Antelope Valley Chapter Veteran’s Committee invited their own family members who are veteran’s to a special luncheon held in their honor. Each veteran received a Certificate of Appreciation in honor and thanks for their service to their country. A luncheon of chicken, rice, and salad was served. Dessert was a delicious cake served up by members of the Antelope Valley C.A.R. A great time was had by all. Tammany Fields was the emcee for the Veterans’ Committee and presented a very moving introduction and welcome to the group.
