Patricia Pedersen

Patricia Pedersen, a member of Gold Trail Chapter, Roseville, presented her family’s story with local middle school classrooms as part of this year’s essay topic on the War of 1812.  She shared the plight of her ancestor and two young children who walked across NY State to safety after family members were captured in Niagara County. The middle school students were excited to hear the human side of history after being assigned the essay by their teachers.
