In the category of poems, first place honors went to Lauren Billnitzer and second place to Jeanie Benedict. Benedict also took first place for stamp design, Nicholas Baumann received the second place award, and Ashley Ibrahim, third place.

A team of three girls, Aleksa Jarusunas, Emily Gesseck, and Tiffany Frial, won the banner competition. The Jarusunas family was well represented in the poster competition with Lukas Jarusunas winning first and Aleksa taking second place.

Analisa Sack took first place and JJ Abele won second place for short stories.

Congratulations go to Mrs. Imelda Dent, the teacher who encouraged her fourth graders to enter the competitions and be outstanding Junior American Citizens!
