Ashley Carroll, Angeline Lee, and LaTanja Walker

El Redondo Chapter recently awarded scholarships to three South Bay students.  Ashley Carroll, Redondo Union High, is an AP Scholar, lettered in tennis, and has previously received the JROTC medal.  She plans to attend St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA, majoring in Environmental Engineering.  Angeline Lee, Redondo Union High, is an AP Scholar, served on the Redondo Beach Commission for 4 years, and editor of the school paper and yearbook.  International Studies will be her focus at UC Santa Barbara.  LaTanja Walker, Leuzinger High, is a talented singer who writes and composes music.  She is a church volunteer who has given many hours to help the elderly through family and convalescent homes.  She will be attending California State University, Dominguez Hills.
