The Student Essay Instructions Form (DGC-1003) was revised on August 23, 2012, to update the focus question the student uses to write the essay. This is the form given to the schools in a sealed envelope and not opened until the student writes the essay.

The revised form has now been updated to the NSDAR members website at
http://members.dar.org/committees/goodcitizens/forms.htm.

Please note that all chapter regents received the printed NIP pages for the DAR Good Citizens committee, which included the Student Essay Instructions form containing the error in the essay focus question.
