Chapter Chatter: San Clemente Island Honors New American Citizens

On January 11, 2017,San Clemente Island Chapter honored two brand new American Citizens, Maria Paredes and Rossano Licop from the Philippines. After a lengthy process, their dream of becoming an American citizen finally came true this past Fall. We honored Maria and Rossano with a luncheon, certificates and American flag pins. Our First Vice-Regent Mary Dahm, told the story of their journey to become American Citizens. Our Chaplain said a special prayer and we all sang God Bless America. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and a patriotic cake. It was a very special day for all in attendance.
