Working with the Amador Valley chapter of Quilts of Valor, Mt. Diablo Chapter Regent Kate Hare lovingly sewed a quilt which she then donated to her daughter-in-law, U.S. Army veteran Karie Hare.

Karie is married to Regent Kate’s son, U.S. Army Major J. P. Hare, who is currently a PhD candidate attending the University of Texas.
