United States military veterans attending Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) in South Lake Tahoe were treated to hot lunches during finals week (March 25-29, 2019).

Members of Lake Tahoe Chapter showed up each day to serve lunch in the veterans’ campus meeting room.  The lunch service was coordinated by Lake Tahoe Chapter’s DAR Service to Veterans Chair Karen Borges, DC – a member of the campus Board of Trustees – and Marcel Rowley, LTCC Veterans Service Coordinator.  To quote Karen: “…based on the absence of leftovers each day, I think we could call it a success!”
