The Jose Maria Amador Chapter has been busy the last few weeks. On Monday, May 30, 2022, members placed US Veteran flag holders and flags at all 36 veteran’s graves at the Dublin Pioneer Cemetery in Dublin, CA. The project was put together by Sue deLeeuw, the Service for Veterans Chair, and Janet Brown as part of her capstone project for the New Horizons leadership training course. The flags will remain on the graves from Memorial Day through July 4th.

Then, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, the Chapter took part in a Flag Day event put on by the City of San Ramon held at Forest Home Farms Historic Park. The Chapter had a table where they gave out flags, flag pins, information on Flag etiquette and showed how to correctly fold an American flag.
