Chapter Chatter: Fresno Yosemite Chapter: “A Century of Service 1922-2022”

On the beautiful morning of 21 August 2021, The Fresno Yosemite Chapter held its first formal activity leading up to their centennial celebration, “A Century of Service 1922-2022.”

We honored a founding member and Organizing Regent of the Fresno Chapter was honored by a wreath-laying ceremony at her gravesite. The ceremony was officiated by Regent Sally Tripp and Chaplain Diane Durando with welcome and introductions provided by Registrar Dar Joneson, who also organized the event.

The Yosemite Sons of the American Revolution, including C.A.R. members, provided the Color Guard and presentation of the Flag. Silk flower arrangements were distributed to each Daughter who attended the program, with a special arrangement in a crystal vase, of red, white, and blue rosebuds wrapped in white satin ribbon. The arrangement included a white ostrich feather plume, a subtle reference to the roaring ’20s-themed gala which will be held on March 12, 2022..
