On Flag Day, June 14th, in Oroville, members of Feather River Chapter presented a Gold Star Mothers flag to Mr. James Lenhoff, local flag historian.  The chapter had received the flag from the VFW post of Oroville. The Gold Star Mothers organization was formed during WWI.  Membership is made up of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in combat.
