Chapter Chatter: El Redondo Chapter Visits Veterans Memorial Moving Wall

The El Redondo Chapter visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall on Friday, May 28, 2021 while it was at Green Hills Memorial Park in Palos Verdes, CA.

Genevieve ‘Gene’ Hassan, Former Regent and Honored Chapter Daughter, lost her husband, Morrison Arthur Cotner, on April 28, 1967 when he was shot down in Vietnam. She was left with four children, ages ten and younger. The chapter members met in front of the section where his name is listed and paused to think of him and all of the other brave men and women who gave their lives in that war, and also thought of those people like Gene, who had to carry on after their loss.
