Two Bay Area districts collaborated; joining efforts to engage members and
benefit their respective chapters! Regent Cindi Newbold of the Jose Maria
Amador Chapter, Pleasanton (East Bay) and Regent Donna M. Santistevan of the Los Altos Chapter, Los Altos (West Bay) teamed up for their very first joint video-conferencing workshop for prospective members and not-so-new members of both chapters. The Regents met in 2018 at Continental Congress and shared hotel accommodations, which began an ongoing relationship of support and friendship which exemplifies the DAR spirit.

Last week they hosted approximately twenty women via Zoom, who were
introduced to an overview of all things DAR! Namely the history, the DAR
buildings, the society’s organizational structure, membership, committees,
events, protocol, and insignia!

The regents are hoping to continue this practice and welcome you as their next co-host!!
