December 2020 was a busy month for our chapter, in spite of the pandemic. San Clemente Island Chapter members donated over $1500 of toys and gift cards to the Camp Pendleton Marines’ Christmas party for children and young Marines this holiday season.

On December 19, 2020, chapter members and family gathered at Pacific Grove Memorial Park to lay wreaths on Veterans’ graves, saying each of their names aloud. This was a special day, honoring and remembering our Veterans, as we participated in the national Wreaths Across America project along with many other DAR chapters.

San Clemente Island Chapter is looking forward to the new year and moving forward in service to our community.
