ANOTHER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA REGISTRAR’S WORKSHOP – MAY 25

Be sure to mark your calendars for a “further south” State Registrar’s Workshop for chapter registrars and their assistants/trainees, chapter membership teams, volunteer genies and lineage researchers.

This workshop will be hosted by the State Registrar on Saturday, May 25th, at Valley Center Branch Library, 29200 Cole Grade Rd, Valley Center, CA 92082, phone 1-760-749-1305, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm in the Community Room. The city of Valley Center is in San Diego County.

We’re planning a fun-filled day of sharing and education on the evolving responsibilities of chapter and district registrars, the role of membership teams and lineage researchers, changes in both State and National procedures, “how to” sessions, and exchange of information among ourselves on what is working well and what is not working so well in our chapters. This is the fourth session and is planned for Southern California Daughters who live in the far south, with a special invitation to any member who couldn’t make it to the initial workshops in Glendora, Fresno, or Elk Grove.

Please RSVP to registrar@californiadar.org, or call 530-274-9710, (or cell phone 530-277-5266 after May 14th), to advise you are attending. Refreshments will be provided during a mid-afternoon break.

This is a great opportunity to meet each other, share ideas, and get answers to your questions. See you there!!
