What a joy to start a new year with service opportunities, programs, in person meetings and events! CSSDAR has welcomed many women since the pandemic began – women who have not yet experienced DAR in person. While we are hugging long time friends, let’s remember to welcome and get to know the ladies we haven’t yet met.

Just this morning, a Daughter said she wasn’t sure she’d return to a chapter meeting. “I walked in, and everyone already had their friend group. There wasn’t room for me.” Every one of us has felt this way at least once. Let us be extra aware of new faces and go out of our way to welcome both long time friends along with new Daughters and Prospective Members to all of our gatherings.
