This announcement is to remind you to document all your Flag-related activities completely in order to get CMR credit and certificates of award, achievement and participation! Flag of the United States National Chair Marria Blinn has posted on Facebook the various categories on the CMR which will be eligible for recognition and they are listed below:
- List the number of Flag events your chapter participated in:
- American Flag program
- Flag Day Ceremony
- Flag Retirement Ceremony
- How many Flags were retired?
- Parade Event with American Flag
- Library Display
- List the total number of Flags and/or DAR Flag certificates presented or awarded to individuals, schools, new citizens, churches, etc.
- Number of Flags purchased from the DAR Store which were flown over Constitution Hall or Memorial Continental Hall
- How many copies of the DAR Flag Code brochure or other Flag literature did your chapter distribute?
- How many chapter meetings included a Flag Minute?
- How many Braille Flags did your chapter present?
