NSDAR offers 26 scholarships for graduating high school seniors, college, and graduate students in specific areas of study. Applicants must be US citizens and must attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the USA. Scholarship applications are accepted: November 1, 2020 – January 31, 2021, and closes at 11:59 pm (EST).

California offers two scholarships. The first is for a graduating high school senior who is planning to major in American History or Political Science. The second is for a California DAR member who is re-entering the workforce and needs educational training for a new employment position. Scholarship applications need to be mailed to State Headquarters and postmarked by January 10, 2021.

Regents are you up for a fun challenge? It’s called the DAR Scholarship Statewide Challenge. Please ask your chapter members to share the DAR Scholarship information sheet with at least one school (high school or college) in your service area.
Want to help judge? Last year NSDAR Scholarship Committee received many scholarship applications and they are seeking the help from NSDAR members.
