Announcement: Constitution Week Lesson Plans on Revised Webpage

Calling all Constitution Week Chapter Chairs:

The revised Constitution Week Webpage is on the CSSDAR Members’ Website, and this committee chair thanks you all for your patience!!

The lesson plans created by Community Classroom Co-Chair Sarah Towne diCicco are well worth waiting for! These plans are meant to encourage students and adults who are planning to submit a poster for the Constitution Week Poster Contest to consider the various artistic means by which they can express their feelings and knowledge about our Constitution.

Many of you have already contacted schools and given them the 2021 poster contest rules–it is not too late for you to give them the lesson plans (all or part) because the deadline for posters to be submitted to your chapter is January 1!

Please take a look at these plans, which are written with all ages of students in mind, and distribute whichever ones you believe will appeal most to the schools and students with which you have been in touch. Call or email me with any questions!!

Poster Contest Awards:
A reminder for you that, like last year, we will have awards for first place, second place, third place, and honorable mention in the following age categories: 5-9, 10-13, 14-17, 18 and above. And from these groups will be chosen a first place, second place, third place, and honorable mention winner for the official state awards as outlined by National with the first place entry going to the Southwest division chair for the national competition.

With Full Hearts….We Can and We Will….Rise and Shine in Service to God, Home and Country!
