In the spirit of making meetings more “fun” for attendees, De Anza board members donned witch hats, with Regent Laurel Lemarié wearing the mother of all hats in honor of the magical month of October. 

In a more serious vein, members brought pajamas to the October meeting to be given at Christmas as “PJs for Pendleton Kids.”  MOM4USA, headed by Faye Bell, speaker at the October meeting, distributed 1500 pairs of pajamas at Camp Pendleton and 600 at Camp Lejeune in 2011. In the spring, De Anza members will donate items, and help assemble new baby care packages for MOM4USA distribution to our military families.
