Dear California Daughters,
It was wonderful to see nearly 200 California Daughters at the April 26th Meet the Officers-elect Meeting in Rancho Cordova, where we heard the plans of the new Jackson Administration. It was a nice day with lots of time to visit with one another. While the individual installation ceremonies for each district were being conducted, this officer loved watching the audience. Such big beaming smiles, and very obvious appreciation and support for the women who have stepped up to lead the districts.
The State Board and State Officers-elect look forward to the southern meeting at Knott’s Resort in Buena Park on May 3rd. We are expecting close to 300 at this meeting!
Thank you to State Regent-elect Carol Jackson and to the State Officers-elect for all of their work in planning these “spring” council meetings. We also thank dozens of volunteers who worked to set up the events and work during the meetings. To all members who attend, your participation and interest are greatly appreciated. We hope you enjoy getting a sneak peak at the plans for the upcoming term!
