Dear California Daughters,
The State Board of Directors looks forward to seeing many of you at the 122nd Continental Congress, June 26 – 30. President General Merry Ann Wright will complete a very successful three-year term of office, and we will vote for a new slate of National officers that includes our own Honorary State Regent Karon Jarrard, a candidate for the office of Corresponding Secretary General.
We hope to see you at our annual California Congressional Tea on Tuesday, June 25, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., at the JW Marriott Hotel. This event honors National Parliamentarian Carole D. Belcher for her service to the National and State Societies. Reservations may be made by using the online form (found under “State Forms and Documents” on the CSSDAR Members’ website), or you can use the CSSDAR Webstore located at https://webstores.activenetwork.com/school-software/california_state_soc/ The reservation deadline is June 15. This officer sends her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported the State Regent’s Project during this last year. On May 17th at a ceremony held at University of California, Davis, the State Society donated $30,000 to be used for honey bee research in the entomology department. Be sure to check out an article that will appear in the June Clarion about this awesome event!
