HOTEL RESERVATIONS OPEN FOR 106TH STATE CONFERENCE

Members may now begin making hotel reservations for the 106th State Conference to be held March 6-9, 2014, at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel, 5855 Century Blvd., Los Angeles.

The DAR room rate is $119 per night and includes parking fees.  Those staying at the hotel will have in-and-out privileges.

There are two ways to reserve your room:

By Telephone:  310-641-5700, the event code is DRVDRVA

Online:  http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/laxap-los-angeles-airport-marriott/?toDate=3/9/14&groupCode=drvdrva&stop_mobi=yes&fromDate=3/6/14&app=resvlink

Make sure you add the name of your roommate to your reservation so the conference committee has a complete list.

If you have any problems securing rooms, please send an email to the state regent we can work with the hotel room manager to solve your issues.

We are excited to announce that the guests of the conference will be:

Ann Dillon, First Vice President General – she will be giving a program on Friday morning Danna Koelling, State Regent Arizona Virginia Lingelbach, State Regent Georgia Patsy West, State Regent Missouri Brent Hutchinson, Director Hindman Settlement School – he will speaking at the DAR School Supper

Please remind members to make reservations early. If they think they “might” come to the conference, they should make a reservation to ensure they get a room. Rooms will sell out and there is no guarantee we will be able to arrange another block.

Cancellation is by 6:00 p.m., day of arrival.

The CSSDAR Call To Conference with all the details of the annual meeting will be posted on the CSSDAR Members’ website on or before January 6.  A communique will be sent to alert members of its posting.

Send any questions to Conference Chair Susan Montgomery, susanjm@pacbell.net

Thank you.
