Golden Nugget Chapter Members

Golden Nugget Chapter won 2nd place in the Gold Nugget Parade held April 28th, 2012, for the Patriots Historical Reenactment. The theme of the parade this year was Golden Memories and Daughters made hats and costumes representing the era when the NSDAR was founded. As the chapter passed the reviewing stand the announcer read the following statement written by Vice Regent Linda Nassie. “Honoring our country and its amazing history is the Golden Nugget Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a group of women devoted to the preservation of our heritage through patriotic and educational programs. The DAR works tirelessly throughout the country to honor and recognize our marvelous heritage. Remembering the words of second  President John Adams, “Our obligations to our country never cease but with our lives.” The DAR stands firm in its support of America.
