Constitution Week Chairman Jane Byrne Murray receives a City of Chico Constitution Proclamation from Chico Mayor Ann Schwab.

Chico Chapter celebrated the signing of the Constitution at their September 8, 2012, meeting. The chapter received a Constitution Proclamation from Chico Mayor Ann Schwab. Members recited the Preamble to the Constitution and participated in the Bells Across America on September 17, by ringing bells provided by the chapter. This year the Chico Chapter donated over 100 pocket Constitutions and bookmarks to classes in American government at Butte Community College. An exhibit of the winning NSDAR poster was displayed in the Chico Library.  The posters were also exhibited at the District I meeting on September 19, 2012.
