Chapter Chatter: WAA Mobile Museum Makes a Stop in Concord

The Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit made a stop at the Concord City Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 11th and 12th. The event ,supported by the VFW and DAR, brought together the local community, veterans, active-duty military and their families with exhibits, short films and shared stories.

Viet Nam War Vets were recognized with a commemorative pin. Local cemeteries veterans honored and remembered were Brentwood Union Cemetery, Alamo Pioneer Cemetery, Lafayette Cemetery, Dublin Pioneer Cemetery and Concord Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Volunteers from Anne Loucks, Mt. Diablo, Jose Maria Amador and Acalanes Chapters supported the WAA Mobil Museum and teamed up to greet attendees, answer questions and distribute information about WAA.
