Santa Monica Chapter, NSDAR participated in a Veteran and Family Stand Down at the Los Angeles Convention Center in December. The Stand Down provided services, information, entertainment, temporary shelter, opportunities, food, pampering, guidance, and hope for both male and female veterans & their children.

The chapter organized a wash cloth puppy making station and handed out them out to veterans in need. Mayor Eric Garcetti attended this amazing event and went home with a washcloth puppy too!
