Chapter Chatter: Santa Margarita Chapter’s Potluck Summer Tea

The Santa Margarita Chapter held their annual Potluck Summer Tea at the home of chapter treasurer, Jacquie Berzins. Members brought their one or two bite favorites to share and no one left hungry.

Tables were set up on the patio surrounded by greenery of all kinds, including flowering plants, banana trees, and a koi pond. State Regent, Adele Lancaster, a member of the chapter, was able to attend and was quite pleased with the table centerpieces, star shaped glass bowls filled with beach sand, sea stars and shells.

Three prospective members and a brand new member were in attendance making the afternoon even more special. This annual tea gives members a chance during the summer break to gather in a social setting, renew friendships, make new ones, and relax before the business of the next few months begin. It’s a wonderful tradition that we hope will continue for years to come.
