On Saturday, March 25, 2023, San Clemente Island Chapter participated in the annual Swallows Day parade in San Juan Capistrano, welcoming the return of the swallow; they migrate 6,000 miles from Argentina every year and return to their nests at the Mission.

It was a beautiful sunny day with large crowds enjoying the parade of bands, horses, and groups walking the route downtown.
