San Clemente Island chapter hosted a delicious luncheon for District XII members at the Hummingbird Cafe in San Juan Capistrano on September 17, 2018 in celebration of Constitution Day.  DAR members and families walked to the Mission, just blocks away, where the bells rang out at 1 pm, the time of the signing in 1787.  The mayor of San Juan Capistrano attended as well as members of the historical society and district officers.  Our chapter members passed out American flags and provided a brief ceremony before the bell ringing.  Thank you to all who attended this special event.
