On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, San Clemente Island Chapter celebrated Constitution Day with a delightful lunch on the patio at Cedar Creek Inn. We were joined by many District XII and state officers as well as family and friends.

A special ceremony was held at Mission San Juan Capistrano, followed by the ringing of the mission bells at 1 pm. Our chapter placed patriotic displays in local libraries during the month of September, with information on the Constitution.

Representatives attended City Council meetings in San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, and Dana Point and received proclamations declaring the week of September 17th Constitution Week.

It is an honor and a privilege to remind the public of this important day in history and to celebrate our freedom with them.
