At the May 12, 2014 meeting of the Sacramento Chapter, the Mary Dean Alsworth Memorial American Indian Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, was awarded to Erika Salinas. Erika is a student at California State University Sacramento. Erika says, “I believe that real happiness lies in generosity and kindness and that with education, lives can be changed.”
