There was a wonderful gathering on May 14, 2021, of members from Feather River Chapter, Chico Chapter and Golden Nugget Chapter along with several current and previous state officers to celebrate the Golden Nugget Chapter’s renewed life after the Camp Fire.

The gathering was held at the Historic Pentz Hotel between Oroville and Paradise. It was wonderful to see old friends and make new acquaintances. Golden Nugget member Lynne Stefanetti presented quilts she had made to Adele Lancaster and Sharon Maas and a handmade button necklace to Christina Ramos.

One new member to Feather River Chapter, Nancy Mowry, was inducted. It was wonderful to be outside in a mask free environment. Many thanks to Lyn Moore for hosting the gathering at her historic hotel.
