On Friday, February 15, 2019, Feather River Chapter hosted their annual DAR Good Citizens Award Luncheon in Gridley. Qualifying students were from Yuba, Sutter and Butte County high schools and were accompanied by parents, counselors and friends.

This year’s recipients are (left to right) Sydnie Victorino, Taryn Monnot, Semaj K. McGhee, Janet Enriquez, Madison Reimers, Matthew P. Schuy, Selah Hartman, who wrote the winning essay, and Good Citizens Chair Diane Reimers. Not pictured is Zachary W. Hancock.

Prior to the awards ceremony a potluck lunch, prepared by chapter members, was served along with beautiful, delicious cupcakes decorated with a patriotic theme made by chapter member Debra Cotton.
