El Toyon Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, was honored to donate the Flag of the United States of America to the San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum on Monday, September 12. Regent Donna Wallis presented the flag which had been flown over the US Capitol to Linda Christensen, Docent President, Docent Council of the San Joaquin County Historical Society. The flag will fly high over the museum at Micke Grove representing a government instituted by our founding fathers and preserved by our servicemen that there will always be Freedom and Justice in America. The Stockton based Chapter serves San Joaquin County and is the third oldest Chapter in the State of California.
