Cadets from the Porterville Military Academy (grades 7-12) received 6 DAR Youth Citizenship Awards, one per grade. They received this honor by exhibiting Honor, Service, Courage, Leadership, and Patriotism.

One DAR Outstanding Cadet Award was presented to the selected cadet for Academic Excellence, Dependability, Good Character, Adherence to Military Discipline, Leadership, and a Fundamental and Patriotic Understanding of the Importance of the Cadet Program. Recipients are pictured holding certificates and medals along with staff and family members.
