Patience Wright Chapter had an amazing program last Saturday, March 19, 2016 given by Martin Severance Chapter member Jane Wong. Her informative, interactive, and very interesting program about material culture and 18th century women’s costumes was great for all ages.

The best reaction, however, came from 4-year-old Eli when Jane announced women didn’t wear underpants back then. His “HA!” said it all!
