Covid-19 and social distancing has made it difficult to reach our veterans. In response to this, the Veterans Association has started a new program, The Compassionate Contact Corps. They are seeking volunteers to contact veterans via telephone or video conferencing to check on their welfare and to just be a friend in these isolated pandemic times.

Training is provided including a script to get started. Once trained, the volunteers are provided with the contact information for a few veterans.
