California Daughters, with the ending of 2020, it’s CMR (Chapter Master Report) time. Some changes have been made to the Commemorative Events Committee recognition forms. The following is a reminder on where your Chapter can find Commemorative Events information and forms.
Go to the NSDAR Members Website,
Click on Committees,
Click on Commemorative Events, a brief description of each event is listed,
Click on Forms in the box on the right,
Choose the correct form for the Commemorative Event they are participating in,
All 50th Anniversary Vietnam War Events are listed and have separate entry forms.

You can also link to our National site from the CSSDAR/National Committee/Commemorative Events page.
Chapters and States can honor and award as many places as they want. Only State Winners are sent to Divisions and only 1st place Winners are sent to National Vice Chairs and National Chairs. The Vietnam War National Vice Chair only receives the 1st place Winners.
Please be advised: There have been some changes to the entry forms and information pertaining to the Commemorative Events. All deadlines will be adhered to this year. No additional deadlines will be allowed. Deadlines have changed over the years and during the Van Buren Administration these are the mailed by dates:
January 15th – Chapter to State Chair
February 15th – State Chair Winners to Division Vice Chair
March 15th – Division Winners to National Vice Chairs
April 15th – National Vice Chairs to National
State Chair will send the Vietnam War Commemoration, Outstanding State Member (OSM) directly to the National Vice Chair Vietnam War Commemoration by March 15th.

All entries must be mailed to Chairs (emails will not be considered). All folders are to have a clear front with the entry form as the first page. Remember, return postage must be sent if you want your original entry returned. Good quality copies may be submitted for the originals.

Chapter Commemorative Events Chairs or Chapter Regents are to make sure the entry form has been filled out correctly. State Chairs are not responsible if forms are not complete. These forms are how Winners are contacted and certificates printed.
