Let us share and instill love of history and country in our students by encouraging and sponsoring the American History Essay Contest and the Patriots of the American Revolution DAR High School Essay Contest.
All chapters are encouraged to promote and conduct the American History essay contest. All 5, 6, 7, and 8 grade students in a public, private, or parochial school, and those who are homeschooled are eligible. Chapters are also encouraged to promote and conduct the Patriots of the American Revolution History Essay Contest. All 9, 10, 11, and 12 grade students in a public, private, or parochial school, and those who are home schooled are eligible.
