Dear California Daughters,
I’m sure you’ve seen in the recent announcement the NSDAR has contracted with the JW Marriott Washington, DC, located at 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, as the official 132nd Continental Congress hotel.
The CSSDAR has contracted with The Mayflower Hotel, 1127 Connecticut Avenue NW – also a Marriott property – during the week of Continental Congress from June 24, 2023, through July 6, 2023.
The California Congressional Tea will be held at The Mayflower Hotel, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. More information about this event will be published in the future.
If you wish to stay at The Mayflower Hotel, you can reserve rooms now at any time of day using the passkey below. The California room block is available from Saturday, June 24th – checking out Thursday, July 6th – so consider staying for the 4th of July in DC! I’m sure you saw pictures of the 4th of July parade in the latest edition of American Spirit.
If you wish to stay on other dates, the California rate will not be available. Reservations close Friday, February 24, 2023, 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Any unused rooms will be released to the hotel and additional rooms may only be available at the then-current available rate. This room block may be used up very quickly, so it is advised that you make your reservation now.
When making your reservation if you are sharing a room, please include the name of your roommate(s) so we have a complete list of those staying at The Mayflower Hotel.
Rates are $304.00 per night, for single or double, and subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 14.95%) in effect at the time of check-out.
