SAR BROADCAST REGARDING DAR BUSINESS

Today, I received several emails from California Daughters stating that they had received multiple copies of an email from an SAR member named John Williams regarding his complaints about the DAR Ritual and Missal.

Back in June, I received complaints that this man was broadcasting to DAR members, so I forwarded it to President General Merry Ann Wright.  She, in turn, sent it to the President General of SAR to make him aware of the situation and to request that he put a stop to it.

I have sent a copy of the email received today to the office of the President General.  If you receive emails from Mr. Williams, please delete them. Do not respond, and please do not forward them to anyone.

As stated many times this past year, all DAR Rituals and Missals going back to the first published volume, are available on the DAR website. Chapters may pray as they wish at meetings.

Due to the variety of members in our state who have received the SAR email, this is a good time to remind everyone to make sure that members are aware that chapter and district yearbooks and the State Directory are not for public consumption. They should not to be shared with any outside organization or business.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you.
