Announcement: All DAR Work Counts as Acceptable Service to America Hours

ATTENTION ALL CALIFORNIA DAUGHTERS!

There were comments by members at the CSSDAR State Conference that chapter officers DO NOT count their work as acceptable Service to America hours! WRONG! Chapter officers, committee chairs, every chapter member…ALL DAR work can and SHOULD be logged onto the online tally as acceptable service hours. If there are ANY questions about this, please contact a Service to America Co-Chair for clarification.

Goal sheets were included in every chapter’s folder at the State Conference with suggested goals for the remaining three months. These numbers were also sent to the District Directors. California’s goal for 2019, January to June 15, is 163,000 Service to America Hours. The end of our President General Ann Dillon’s term is June 2019 and her goal is 19,000,000 hours. We can and will do our part to ensure her goal is reached. WE JUST HAVE TO DO IT!

It is just five easy steps to log your hours:

Step 1: Go to Service to America Online Tally

Step 2: Enter state, chapter, and national number
Step 3: Enter those hours
Step 4: Save
Step 5: Log-out

The CSSDAR Members’ Website also has detailed information on acceptable community service hours and directions to log your hours under Service to America Online Tally on the home page.

Let’s finish up with a big HURRAH SHOUT AND THEN DO THE HAPPY DANCE!
