James Lenhoff, a local historian, received a Certificate of Appreciation for an Outstanding Program on American Flags from Diane Reimers (right), Regent of the Feather River Chapter.  Also pictured is Carolyn Lindsay the Chapter’s Parliamentarian who made arrangements for the program.  Mr. Lenhoff provided us with a history of our American flag and several flags from different eras were on display.  California was the 31st state to enter the union.  Our state is represented by the 31st star on the flag (6th row from the top, star that’s in the middle).
