California State Board of Directors – State Corresponding Secretary

This officer is honored to be your State Corresponding Secretary. She looks forward to meeting many of you – and to serving all of you – during the next two years.

The State Yearbook & Directory will have a new look, both online and in print. The printed version will be in an 8.5” x 11” format, suitable for use with a 3-hole binder and dividers. The online version will be organized into two parts – 1) Contact Directory, and 2) all other sections. This is to facilitate the printing of the Contact Directory (if printing is desired), and will also make it easier for members to read in this larger format. Another advantage of the online State Yearbook and Directory is that it will be easy to update. The goal of this officer is to update the online Contact Directory by 5th day of the month. In order to accomplish this, chapter registrars need to keep e-Membership updated and include this officer in the e-Membership update process.

Chapter Regents, please pick up your pre-ordered yearbook and Proceedings at the State Corresponding Secretary’s table during September Council meetings. Chapter Regents or their designees will be asked to sign for their orders. Orders that are not picked up by chapters must be taken by district directors before the conclusion of the council meetings. There will be no extra copies of the State Yearbook & Directory or Proceedings for sale. However, the State Corresponding Secretary’s table will be selling CSSDAR Certificates of Award, Certificates of Appreciation, and presentation folders.

Once again, thank you for giving this officer the opportunity to be of service to the California State Society. See you in September!
