TRAVEL ADVISORY RANCHO CORDOVA MEET THE OFFICERS -ELECT

We received word today that there will be road issues the weekend we will be traveling to Rancho Cordova for the April 26 Officers-elect meeting.

You will need to plan extra driving time due to road construction in the Sacramento area due to major highway construction on Hwy 80 (Capitol Expressway) in Sacramento on April 26th that will impact travel to Rancho Cordova.

Information on how this will impact your travel can be found at www.fix50.com. The highway construction will impact traffic coming from the south and west areas.

Suggestions for Travel:

From the South (Stockton, Fresno, Southern California) – Take Hwy 99 north and Hwy 50 east, you will avoid all traffic problems.

From the West (Davis, East Bay, Fairfield, and Sacramento Airport) – Take Hwy 80 Interstate (north around Sacramento).  Exit Watt Ave and go south to Hwy 50, go east to Rancho Cordova.

Thank you to District II Director Dallas Love for alerting us and for providing alternative travel information!
